Atonement is a 2007 british, romantic, drama, war film based on the same name novel by Ian McEwan.
It is about Briony Tallis, a 13 year-old girl who irrevocably changes the course of several lives when she accuses her old sister's lover of a crime he did not commit.
The film received positive reviews from the critics and it was nominated for 7 Oscars, winning one for Best Original Score.
It's a good movie to watch, if you want to see a strong love between two young people and the obstacles they face due to a stupid mistake that a child made.
